About the Role:


ICICI Bank provides complete banking solutions to corporates. As a Relationship Manager of Wholesale Banking, you will be responsible for credit appraisal of the corporates and client servicing involving execution of end to end set processes such as financial analysis, note making, documentation for the transactions under the guidance of the Senior Relationship Manager/ Regional Head, following the Bank?s philosophy of Fair to Customer, Fair to Bank. To provide 360 degree banking to customers, you are required to understand & cross-sell Retail Liability & Asset products. Use of technology stack, as we transition from Bank to Bank Tech, is core to the role to give the best digital experience to customers. You will be responsible for generating new leads, client servicing, and portfolio management under the guidance of the Senior Relationship Manager/ Regional Head.


Key Responsibilities:


360? Credit Assessment:

Expected to understand in detail the client?s business and financials and prepare a quality appraisal note in collaboration with the Risk Management team.


Facilitate the disbursement of funds once sanction is in place through coordination with various internal groups. You are also expected to complete post-disbursement documentation activities in coordination with control groups such as Legal, Compliance, and Credit Middle Office.

Portfolio Management:

Assist the Senior Relationship Manager/ Regional Head in managing a high-quality portfolio of corporate clients. Support the Senior Relationship Manager/ Regional Head in achieving business targets and acquiring and onboarding new clients.


Key Qualifications & Requirements:


Educational Qualification:


?       MBA/PGDM

?       CA/ICWA/CFA


Excellent Communication:


Strong negotiation skills backed by excellent oral and written communication skills.


Financial Understanding:


An understanding of the intricacies of financial analysis, the balance sheet, profit & loss accounts and cash flow statements. Knowledge of basic banking products.

About the Business Group:


The Wholesale Banking Group is responsible for maintaining relationships with and servicing large and mid-sized corporations with turnover ranging above Rs 2.5 billion p.a. It provides end-to-end banking solutions across the financial spectrum, ranging from Transaction Banking Solutions, Term Loans, Treasury and Risk Management Solutions, Structured Products, M&A advisory and Investment Banking, in collaboration with multiple product groups. It is also responsible for the appraisal and monitoring of credit limits.




Is an understanding of banking a prerequisite for the role?

It is not necessary to have banking knowledge to apply for the role. However, it is critical to have an orientation to understand multiple credit products, regulations, and financial knowledge. Applicants from all industries are welcome to apply.


Is banking experience a necessity for this role?
