Relationship Manager, Private Banking Group

Role of a Relationship Manager, Private Banking Group:

You get an opportunity to manage the overall portfolio of NRI clients and offer financial advice and solutions across the banking spectrum. This requires a flair for building a strong personal and professional relationship with the customer through understanding the customer persona. A key aspect of the role is managing the investment portfolio of the mapped clients. Hence, you are expected to understand market dynamics and be up-to-date with the latest economic developments around the globe. In addition, you are expected to service all client requests and update them regularly basis their financial portfolio. You become the face of ICICI Bank representing all services and products to the client.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets through Banking Fee, Net Interest Income and Investment Fee
  • Increase AUM of mapped clients 
  • Disbursement of Working Capital Loans, Term Loans, Bank Guarantee, etc.
  • Acquire new clients and drive revenue and AUM from them
  • Ensure regulatory compliance as laid down by relevant authorities

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, global developments and regulations
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills with an ability to strike professional and personal relationships
  • Ability to comprehend the risk and return profile of clients
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to service client requirements

 

Education and Experience:

The candidate should have a Post-Graduate/MBA degree from a leading institution with specialization in any stream; Or a Graduate degree with experience in relationship management

 

Experience

  • The relationship Manager shall have an overall experience of 0-5 years in sales and relationship management in any industry. 
  • Experience in Relationship Management in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) will be preferred
  • Should have an ability to build relationships and understand banking requirements
  • Orientation to learn about various products and financial offering
  • Orientation to build and develop customer relationships
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication (both oral and written) and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Should have an orientation to learn
