"Joining as a fresher in 2001, I had meaningful stints in roles such as branch banking, back office operations, trade product and corporate banking over 4 ½ years within the area of wholesale banking. In early 2006, I was asked to independently set up a branch for a new business, which in itself was significant. But consider this: the Branch would be in a new geography marking the entry of the group in Europe; the business would focus in an industry where the bank had little experience but with plans to capture significant market share; and the branch had to be inaugurated in 4 months time. It didn't matter that I happened to be all of 27 years! This buzz and excitement of being part of something transformational defines the work culture of the Bank. Trust me, it was fun and it still is. What excites me most is that the organization places complete onus on individuals to drive businesses while providing a broad framework and shelter that enables one to take initiatives beyond one's known capabilities."

It's been an open opportunity career platform for me in the past 7 years with the Bank. With an opportunity to work on product development, sales, customer servicing, systems and operations, I have been able to apply innovative ideas across in each stint.
