About the Group:

Debt Service Management Group (DSMG) is a dedicated unit in the Bank responsible for collection of impaired debts from retail customers including RIBG and certain portfolio of Enterprise pool. The collection strategy depends on the stage of delinquency vis-a-vis the activities involved which also includes engagement of outsourced agencies for effective recovery of dues from the customers. 

Primary tools of collection used by Bank are tele-calling, field collections through agencies, set-off through Debit, digital collection, possessions of assets, and sale of possessed assets, exit through settlement and legal actions for the enforcement of security and/or recovery of dues.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To engage with customers across segments and provide assistance required to ease their banking journey and servicing their banking need.
• Responsible for handling and resolving customer queries / complaints over the phone on a day to day basis providing customers
• Locating people through quality research and establishing right party contact
• Responsible for reporting to customer service Unit Manager and will handle all the queries and issues related to loan closures PAN India.
• Data preparation and working of cases received with customer authorization for various products
• Lien and Debit working, Linkages dump working, manual parameter checking.
• Loans Auto Debit Lien and Debit working and collection MIS and Linkages
• Deliver and support Field team on customer service resolution within specific TAT as described in process
• Work Closely with Relationship Manager in DSMG, Repayment team & Closure team in Operations on loan closure

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills is mandatory
• Basic Knowledge in MS Office.
