Branch Relationship Officer (BRO)

Reporting To :Branch Manager/ Branch Relationship Manager/ Regional Asset Manager/ Regional Head Sales/ Sales Manager

Purpose of the Job

ICICI Bank offers a wide array of financial products like Kisan Credit Card, Farm Equipment loan and other liability products such as Savings Account, Current Account, Salary Account etc. to its customers in rural geographies. Our Branch Relationship Officers are the first level of customer interaction who are responsible for creating new client relationships as well as deepening our relationships with the existing clients by offering them all financial products according to their requirement. BROs are required to operate in a specific catchment, wherein they can identify new customers for the given product and provide services to the existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Travel extensively in the defined catchment and generate new customer leads through various channels
  2. Proactively identify sales prospects, act on leads generated through channel partners and conduct business development activities
  3. Follow up on new leads and referrals to generate business
  4. Achieving the monthly sales targets, Cross sell assets and fee products
  5. Follow the various internal guidelines and procedures of the bank
  6. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement
  7. Resolve customer queries/issues and facilitate customer service
  8. Maintain periodic status reports, including daily activity report and calls/follow-ups made as per the defined process


  • Graduate in any discipline (Except MBA)
  • Sales and Banking experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Less than 28 years of age
  • Willing to travel extensively in the defined catchment
