Debt Manager

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with delinquent customers for collections of legitimate dues
  • Manage various channels / partners used for debt servicing
  • Ensure compliance of the laid down processes by the regulators and the bank for debt servicing
  • Provide timely feedback to superiors on the market dynamics and scenarios to enable business decisions


  • Collection and debt servicing of delinquent customers for various banking products
  • Ensure collection of payments from the clients on time
  • Ensure positive customer service experience in the process of collections and ensure high standards of customer service

Product/Customer Handled:

  • Auto/Mortgage/Rural clients

: Constantly raises the bar for self & team, has a strong execution bias, takes initiatives even in the face of significant difficulties
Customer First: Leverages every customer interaction as an opportunity to make an impact, consistently seeks to understand customer needs, is accessible and responsive
Compliance with Conscience: Own norms are aligned with Organizational code of conduct & regulatory norms, consistently sets example by own conduct, always checks on grey areas with relevant authority

Reports to: Area Debt Manager/ Regional Debt Manager

Educational qualification:

Graduate with 4 to 10 years of experience

MBAs with 3 to 6 years of experience

Applicants with experience in collection and recovery preferred
